If you’re feeling bored or looking for something to do this Christmas month then hopefully these suggestions can fix that for you.

Ice skating; we all know what it is and I am sure most people are already aware of the ice rink at the Royal Pavilion, but if you’re not, I’m here to inform you… it’s on.

Every year from 26th October until 5th January, an ice rink opens at the pavilion where you can go to enjoy the festive thrill of ice skating.

What’s better to get you in the Christmas spirit?

And if you’re worried about not knowing how to skate, let me tell you that even if you look as though someone put ice skates on a gazelle, then it just adds to the fun!

Also, no one will bat an eyelid as most people are the same, me included.

This 21st of December you can join thousands of people parading through the city for burning the clocks.

Burning the clocks is a free public event that takes place here in Brighton every year where people parade through the city with their own homemade lanterns (you can order kits online) and then burn them in a bonfire on Brighton beach.

This event takes place to commemorate the year’s end and the shortest day of said year.

This year is actually the 30th burning the clocks, and the theme is Voyager.

In this upcoming December month you will be able to enjoy the festive Christmas fayre here in Brighton.

This fayre will consist of a range of different activities and performances to keep you entertained and amplify your holiday cheer; this includes children’s activities, a market, music nights and more.

Perfect for those winter nights with people you love and cherish.

If you are looking for something different to do but that is still merry and jovial, then you can attend a Komedia Christmas Party.

Full of friendly people, laugh worthy jokes, and Christmas atmosphere, it is the recipe for a night out to remember.

So if you’re looking to dine and dance, the Komedia Christmas Party is perfect for you.

Last but not least, we have the Leonardslee Lights, located in Horsham.

If you’re looking for an atmospheric and beautiful place to visit with loved ones, then look no further, because Leonardslee Lights tick both those things.

Here you can take a trek through scenic gardens and lakes - decorated with gorgeous lights - and truly take in your surroundings.

Sounds magical.

Hopefully you have found what you’re looking for and have a great time doing it.
