Paddington in Peru- A Heartwarming Tale of Adventure
Our furry friend to the late Queen goes in search of his lost Auntie.
Marmalade sandwiches and a blue duffel coat are distinctive characteristics of a bear we all know and love- cherished in everyone’s hearts, the first two Paddington films would be hard to top, but Paddington in Peru is a wonderful story of mischief and mystery, which might just take the cake.
Created by Michael Bond in 1958, A Bear Called Paddington was the story that sparked the adoration of adults and children alike, all enraptured by his undeniable charm and wit.
Given his first book was so successful, Bond was able to quit his job at the BBC and become a full-time writer.
Unlike the other films, Paddington in Peru has an element of escapade, as the Brown family venture into the Peruvian jungle, meeting friends (and foes) along the way.
With big shoes to fill, Emily Mortimer embodies the spirit of Mrs. Brown rather breathtakingly, with the near perfect performances from Sally Hawkins in Paddington and Paddington 2, she was a perfect new addition to the cast.
Visiting his beloved Aunt Lucy at the Home for Retired Bears, Paddington soon arrives with the Browns in Peru- but nothing is quite as it seems.
With uncovered truths, laugh-out-loud moments, and exhilarating tales of excitement, this film is one for the whole family to enjoy.
