East Grinstead have described their near-certain league title as a reward for exciting rugby.
Gs were made to sweat a bit before beating Folkestone 33-21 to remain top of London Three South East.
They are certain to go up and only a win by 240 points for Heathfield against Folkestone this Saturday would deny them the title.
Gs unfurled their own champions banner after two tries from Dan Arnold helped them clear the final hurdle.
Director of rugby Gavin Gleave said: "We are champions unless Heathfield win by 240 points. I suppose it could potentially happen but it would be a new world record.
“We have played a lot of exciting rugby this year. We have a tendency to attack whenever possible. We have had fun on and off the field and that was reflected in the way we played."
