Eastbourne Borough twice came fromn behind to earn a deserved point after the Sussex derby with Crawley endesd in a 2-2 draw at the Broadfield Stadium today.
The home side made a strong start and Charlie Ademeno latched onto Lewis Killeen's pass to fire them in front after seven minutes.
Borough levelled in the 18th minute when the impressive Liam Enver-Marun broke clear onto a pass from Simon Johnson and beat Simon Rayner at his near post.
Reds restored their lead three minutes later when Glenn Wilson headed home Mikey Malcolm's corner to score for the second successive game.
The home side should have been out of sight by half-time with Killeen and Ben Smith both hitting the woodwork while Smith side-footed wide with only the over-worked Danny Knowles to beat.
But Borough levelled in the 47th minute when Enver-Marun got past Wilson and rolled an inviting ball into the path of Jamie Taylor who scored easily against his former club.
The visitors looked more likely to win it after that although there were few chances at either end as the game fizzled out after an entertaining first 45 minutes.
Defender Gary Ephick saw a shot cleared in front of goal by Simon Rusk while at the other end Smith and Quinn headed off target.
It was Borough's sixth draw in their last seven games but after their first-half dominance Crawley boss Steve Evans will regard it as two points dropped.
