Hastings scored three goals in the last 14 minutes to earn a convincing 3-0 win at Harrow Borough which lifted them into fourth place in the Ryman premier.
Boss Tony Dolby said: “We had a mini crisis at the start of the season when we were playing well but not getting the results but we have got over that and who knows what we can achieve now?
“The players are full of confidence, we are finishing games strongly and getting the results.”
Sam Adams put Hastings on their way to a fourth successive win when he was pulled down after latching onto Lee Carey’s pass and converted the resultant penalty.
Hastings then exploited the gaps as Harrow searched for an equaliser to add further goals through Ade Olorunda and Carey.
An injury to on-loan Albion midfielder Lewis Ide took some of the gloss off Bognor’s first win of the season.
Ide got a crack on the top of his foot and needed X-rays after an impressive debut in the 4-2 home win over AFC Hornchurch.
Boss Darin Killpartrick said: “We’re hoping it’s not a bad injury because Lewis made a huge difference with his energy and willingness to get on the ball.”
Defender Tim Bond gave Rocks an early lead and although Gary Bowes equalised just after the break, Bognor took charge through Michael Birmingham’s 25-yard free kick and Charlie Oatway’s tap in.
Bowes got his second in injury time but Micky Demetriou made it 4-2, although Killpartrick was not entirely satisfied.
“Scoring four goals was very pleasing but I’m still not happy about our defending. We have to tighten up when we don’t have the ball.”
Horsham staged a second-half fightback to draw 2-2 at home to Carshalton.
The Robins led 2-0 at the break thanks to headers from Richard Jolly and Lewis Gonsalves but Tony Nwachukwu pulled one back with a sweet left-foot strike and Lee Carney scored a penalty after Ben Andrews had been brought down.
Boss John Maggs said: “The players responded well in the second half and we were unfortunate not to go on and win it.”
