Lewes Football club survived a winding-up order in the High Court today.
They were granted a three-month adjournment to pay back a further £30,000 of an unpaid £110,000 tax bill to HM Revenue and Customs.
The club made a £30,000 down payment last week and negotiations will take place about how to pay the remaining £50,000.
