James Salisbury produced a tremendous bowling display to secure Clymping's division one survival and send Horsham Trinity down.
In a winner-takes-all clash, Clymping looked in real trouble after they were bowled out for just 100 but Salisbury then ripped in to claim 7-27 as the home side collapsed to 59 all out.
Clymping skipper Karl Pierce said: “Considering we lost the first four games I thought we would have a tough year.
“Then we got competitive over the next ten games and we should not have been in that position going into the last game.
“To be fair everyone pulled together and, even though I was fuming at the interval that we had been bowled out for 100, we turned it around and James did what I know he can do and bowled a really good spell.
“It is great to stay up and hopefully next year we have some youngsters coming through and we can build on this.”
Sam Orchard (25) and Pierce (21) were the only Clymping batsmen to get started as Sam Cushing took 6-41 from 14.3 overs.
However, Horsham Trinity slumped from 31-0 to 59 all out with Salisbury and Pierce (3-14) sharing the honours.
Ram are the other team relegated with Horsham Trinity, although it was agonising for them as their 30-point deduction for fielding an ineligible player four weeks ago came back to haunt them.
