Scott Stratton admitted Billingshurst were still celebrating on Sunday morning after clinching the division three west title.
A thrilling victory over Findon ensured Billingshurst secured the title with two matches to go.
With five overs remaining the leaders still needed five wickets to finish off Findon but they claimed them in 14 balls to kick off the celebrations.
Skipper Stratton said: “It was a really exciting way to finish. Nobody got dressed out of their whites until Sunday morning!
“After last year's poor performance we have got back to where we want to be.
“Now we can look forward to next year and hopefully we will be able to hold our own in the second division.”
Billy Harris (113 not out) and John Burroughs (76) helped Billingshurst set 225-5 declared but home side Findon proved dogged opponents with skipper John Rogers hitting 52 before they were eventually bowled out for 140, Barbadian Carleon Brome taking 4-61 to make it 43 wickets for the season for him.
