Barcombe know there is plenty of hard work to be done as they chase a first ever league title.
A maximum points win away to Rye left the leaders 41 points clear with four games to play.
But skipper Joe Wheatley is not getting carried away as his young side home in on glory.
They play resurgent Ringmer on Saturday before finishing against the three other sides currently in the top four.
Wheatley said: “Our big aim is to get 30 points against Ringmer and then as many as we can from the last three games.
“We might get a bit nervous in the last couple of games but at the moment we are all still enjoying it.
“We have Crowhurst Park in two weeks’ time. They won again and I think they are our biggest rivals.”
An understrength Rye side were skittled for 94 with Wheatley taking 5-24. The skipper’s brother, Josh Wheatley, then led the way with 35 not out as Barcombe raced to an eight-wicket win.
