Worthing opted to play Andy Alexander in attack for tonight's Ryman division one south play-off semi-final away to Cray Wanderers.
The versatile Alexander, who is better known as a centre back, got the nod to partner Ross Treleaven up front after making a goalscoring return from a thigh injury in Saturday's final league game against Corinthian-Casuals.
Skipper Ben Andrews, who is still feeling the effects of groin and thigh injuries, had to be content with a place on the bench along with 15-goal midfielder Scott Kirkwood, who was available again after completing a four-match ban.
Cray included 37-year-old former Crystal Palace midfielder Simon Osborn, who made his debut for the club last month, and striker Leigh Bremner, who is the son of former Albion striker Kevin.
