Manager Darin Killpartrick has hinted he may be willing to lead Bognor into the Ryman League next season – possibly in partnership with former boss Jack Pearce.

Killpartrick will discuss his future with general manager Pearce – who is recovering from cancer – after the final game of the season at Hayes and Yeading tomorrow.

The Rocks are already relegated but Killpartrick has impressed everyone with the way he has steadied the ship at Nyewood Lane over the last three months.

He initially agreed to take over on a temporary basis following the departure of Mick Jenkins but admits: “We’ll get tomorrow out of the way and then I’ll sit down with Jack and look at what is the best way forward for the club.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed it and would be interested in carrying on but I have to think about the commitment it involves.

“Maybe I could do it as a joint manager with someone else. Jack is at his best when managing a football team but we have got to be careful with his health. If it is not right for him to manage because of the stress then he won’t do it but if it would be good for him then you can never say never.”

Midfielder Scott Chamberlain is unavailable tomorrow but striker Nathan Lynch returns.
