Hastings United are on the brink of Ryman premier survival after a 2-1 win at home to Hendon.
Goals from captain Rhys Whyborne and substitute Matt Maclean helped Hastings come from behind to grab a vital three points.
They are now three points clear of the relegation zone with one game to play. Hastings, who finish away to Wealdstone, have a worse goal difference than Margate, the only team in the bottom four who can catch them.
However, it would require Margate, Hendon and Boreham Wood all to pick up points for Hastings to be caught.
Horsham lost 3-0 away to AFC Hornchurch.
