Sittingbourne can still catch Worthing, who are in the final play-off place, but they would have to make up a goal difference of 14.
Eastbourne Town went down 2-0 at home to Ashford Town but bottom side Crowborough enjoyed a shock 1-0 win at home to second-placed Cray Wanderers.
