Crawley boss Steve Evans carried out his promise to freshen his side up for the second of three games in five days against Stevenage at Broadfield Stadium this afternoon.
Isaiah Rankin partnered Jamie Cook up front while Mikey Malcolm replaced Lewis Killeen on the left of midfield in two changes to the side which beat second-placed Torquay 2-0 on Saturday to keep their slim play-off hopes alive.
Reds went into the game seven points off the play-offs in eighth place but victory over a Stevenage side currently sixth having played a game more than Crawley.
Their side included ex-Red Michael Bostwick in midfield with goalkeeper Ashley Bayes, who was a virtual ever present last season, on the bench.
