Caretaker boss Steve Ibbitson believes Lewes can do better despite recording back-to-back league wins for the first time this season.
Chris Breach scored the only goal as the Rooks won 1-0 at home to free-falling Weymouth.
The visitors were by far the better side in the first half but Lewes rode their luck to grab their sixth win of the season.
Ibbitson said: “I am pleased with the win but I am not very pleased with the performance. We want to win games but we also want to play as well.
“How we turned round level at half-time, I don't know. We have had a number of games when things have gone against us recently and I think we got repaid with a bit of luck today.
“In the second half half we didn't play great but we did create a couple of chances and they didn't really create anything other than an aerial bombardment which we dealt with.”
Lewes now go to Ebbsfleet on Monday in buoyant mood.
Ibbitson added: “Ebbsfleet is a nice pitch. It will be tough game because they are a good side but I think we will be more suited to playing against them than perhaps a side of giants like Weymouth.”
