East Grinstead are through to the quarter-finals of the EuroHockey League.

Danny Hall scored a last-minute winner to defeat French champions Saint Germain 3-2 in their last 16 clash in Hamburg on Friday.

Hall put Grinstead ahead early in the second half but the French side led 2-1 with 13 minutes to go.

Martin Haener equalised, after the video umpire allowed his open play strike to stand, and then Hall struck in the dying seconds.

Grinstead, who progressed from the group stages earlier in the season, now face either Cannock of HC Bloemendaal in the last eight on Sunday.
