Gary Croydon believes it is “advantage Burgess Hill” in the fight to avoid relegation from the Ryman League.

The Hillians are locked in a battle at the bottom of the table and boss Croydon predicts their fate could be decided on the last day when they travel to Chipstead, who currently occupy the last relegation spot.

Hill entertain table-toppers Kingstonian tomorrow and go to Crowborough on Monday.

Croydon said: “We have two contrasting games this weekend versus top and bottom, but we have to approach them both in exactly the same way.

“We have made ourselves hard to beat in the last few games, only conceding one goal in four matches, and we must try to play the same against Kingstonian and Crowborough and make sure we get some points.

“I would say it is advantage us. It will be hard but I think it is harder for Chipstead and even harder for Corinthian Casuals, especially as we have a superior goal difference that could come into it.

“I don’t want it to go down to the last game against Chipstead but I fear it could come to that.”

Young Charlton goalkeeper Callum Christie will return to the side, defender Charlie Cooke has completed a suspension and Matt Piper is back in training following his knee injury.

Midfielder Lloyd Cotton and centre-half Nick Fogden complete three-game bans.
