Horsham are poised to secure a groundshare with Worthing.

The Argus understands that the Hornets have a draft agreement to use the Rebels' Woodside Road home from next term.

Horsham have to leave Queen Street after 104 years at the end of the season after selling it to property developers and have struggled to find a temporary home while their proposed new stadium at Holbrook is built.

A planned switch to Crawley Town's Broadfield Stadium collapsed recently and Horsham have been forced to look for alternatives to beat a deadline set by the Ryman League if they are to be allowed to compete in the Ryman premier division promotion play-offs.

Worthing already share their ground with Albion Reserves and until 2004 Combined Counties League outfit Withdean also played their games at Woodside Road.

Horsham officials revealed earlier this week that a deal would be done in "days rather than weeks" but have so far declined to reveal the identity of the club they intend to share with.
