Gary McAllister knew exactly what to expect from Albion after an Easter Monday scouting trip.

The Leeds manager praised a "fantastic" goalline clearance by Andrew Whing but admitted the hosts had dropped two points.

He said: "We often promised. We weren't at our best but we created chances and that's what I'm reflecting on.

"It's two points dropped, no doubt about it, and we need to reverse that by winning at Doncaster (tomorrow).

"The team came here to take a point and they got away with a point. I watched them at Forest and they did a similar job.

"They came and played a very narrow midfield diamond, they defended deep and I applaud them for that.

"But it was a case of us missing chances. I can't fault anybody for effort and work-rate."

McAllister also reflected on Michel Kuipers' save from clean-through Dougie Freedman after the break.

He said: "That gave them a little lift and they created a few problems after that.

"I thought we dominated the game at times but we couldn't get that break.

"I think everybody in the dressing room knows they can play better but we'll keep going."
