MATT Jones has called it a fantastic milestone in East Grinstead's history after it was confirmed the club would be playing in the EuroHockey League next season.
Grinstead got the news this week that England had been granted the expected three places, rather than two, in the Champions League-style competition for next year.
Manager Jones now hopes to celebrate the news by securing runners-up spot in the National premier division, starting with victory in their penultimate game of the season at home to Canterbury on Sunday. Jones said: "Over the last three years our aim has been to keep pushing, keep evolving, developing and to raise the bar each year. This is a case of mission accomplished because it is what we set out to achieve at the start of the season.
