Eastbourne Borough boss Garry Wilson has warned his players not to underestimate the threat still posed by Lewes.

Wilson admitted Borough were now favourites to win the title for the first time after they pulled four points clear of the Rooks with a 3-1 win over Hayes and Yeading on Tuesday.

Borough appear to have momentum on their side following three successive victories while Lewes have picked up just one point from a possible nine.

Skipper Paul Armstrong believes five wins from the last eight games will be enough to take the title to Priory Lane but Wilson insists Borough cannot afford to take anything for granted.

He said: "It's all very well saying five games could be enough but if Lewes win their last eight they will be champions so we've got to try to win every game.

"Lewes are a quality side and if they get some players back fit and maybe add one or two to their squad then it is quite possible they will take maximum points from their remaining games. They are certainly good enough to do it and if they hit form then the pressure is on us to match them."

Nathan Crabb could return from a back injury for Saturday's visit of strugglers Weston-super-Mare while Ben Austin could also be on the bench after making his comeback for the reserves on Wednesday night.

Bognor are without three players for their crucial clash with fellow strugglers Weston-super-Mare at Nyewood Lane.

David Birmingham begins a two-game suspension for collecting ten bookings, David Ray is still out with a foot injury and on-loan Albion defender Andy Pearson has the mumps.

Albion midfielder Scott Chamberlain returns from illness for the visit of a Weston side two points below them in the table but with two games in hand.
