Eastbourne Borough boss Garry Wilson believes his side could take a significant step towards the title over the next six days.

Borough can pull four points clear of Lewes at the top of the table tomorrow if they beat Hayes and Yeading at Priory Lane before taking on Bromley and Welling over the Easter weekend.

With the injury-hit Rooks struggling for form Wilson knows maximum points from those three games would leave them in a strong position with six matches to go.

Wilson said: "Every game is crucial at this stage of the season as there is very little room for error. If we slipped up over the next week it would be difficult to recover but if we can open up a lead it would make it difficult for Lewes.

"The pleasing thing is we appear to be back on form but we have got to keep it going this time."

Hayes and Yeading are in mid-table with little to play for but followed up their recent 3-0 win over Bath by beating play-off hopefuls Eastleigh 4-1 on Saturday.

Borough will also have to get the better of former Lazio goalkeeper Alessio De Angelis if they are to improve on an impressive record of 35 goals in their last 11 games.

Nathan Crabb is ruled out with a back injury which forced him to miss Saturday's 5-1 win at Sutton while Ben Austin is not yet ready to return from a long-term back problem.
