Haywards Heath took another huge step towards promotion from County League division three.

Brett Lovett and Daly Clark got the goals in a 2-0 win at Forest to strengthen second place.

Heath are now five points clear of Newhaven, who have only two games remaining, and ten clear of Dorking Wanderers who have three games in hand.

Dorking suffered a third successive defeat as they lost 3-0 away to Uckfield Town, for whom Chris Hickman (two) and Joe Miller were on target.

Fifth-placed Little Common were held to a 3-3 draw at home to Ifield Edwards despite goals from Andy Matthews (two) and Lewis Hole. Stewart Small, Williams and Jamie Mills netted for the visitors.

Leaders Loxwood beat bottom side Hurstpierpoint 4-0 with goals from Matt Hoyte (two), Chris Simmons and Nick Branch.

Billy Kilroy got the only goal as Saltdean United beat Bosham 1-0, while Kingsley Parsons scored on the stroke of half-time as Bexhill United beat Rottingdean 1-0.
