Broadbridge Heath boss Sam Chapman has not given up hope of beating relegation from County League division two.

The Bears remain deep in trouble after an 88th minute strike from Tom Saunders condemned them to a 1-0 defeat against leaders East Grinstead.

Heath are three points above the drop-zone but have played more games than all of their relegation rivals.

Chapman said: ìWe only have three games left and we need to win all of them to stand a chance. I would be lying if I said I hadn't thought of relegation but you never know what will happen.î A Dan Molyneux hat-trick helped Southwick edge closer to safety with a 3-1 win over bottom side Pease Pottage, who equalised through Jack McNab.

Sidlesham moved to within a point of beating the drop after a Jordan Willis double and Max Delahunty strike sealed a 3-1 win over fellow strugglers Storrington.

Wealden continued their free-fall towards the relegation zone after throwing away a two goal lead to lose 5-2 against promotion-outsiders Mile Oak. An own goal and Dan Poulton put Wealden in front early on, before a Kieron Howard hat-trick and goals from Tony Burnett and Danny Curd gave the points to Oak.

Second-placed Lingfield needed a late penalty from Danny Gillard to earn a point from a 1-1 draw against Peacehaven, who went ahead through Richard Watton.

Rustington got their promotion push back on track with a 3-0 win against resurgent Seaford. James Butt, Sean Duffy and Steve Kirkham netted to give the Blues a first win in six league games.

A James Upton brace and Scott Woolley strike early in the second half ensured Crawley Down stayed a point behind the promotion places with a 3-2 win over Westfield, who had Duncan Jones and Dominic Clarke on target.

Midhurst beat Littlehampton 3-2 after a second half 15 minute scoring spree from Lewis Hamilton (2) and Dan Warren.
