Worthing Thunder's realistic hopes of a third successive league title are over after they crashed to a heavy defeat at EBL division one leaders Manchester Magic.
Thunder were outclassed 95-69, having been outscored by 11 in the first quarter. Former Thunder star Steve Gayle led Magic with 22 points.
Cleve Woodfork had 20 points and Demetrius Scott 15 for badly out-of-sorts Worthing, who must now target the play-offs if they are to claim any silverware this season.
