Caretaker manager Michael Birmingham believes Luke Nightingale can shoot Bognor to safety.
The former Portsmouth striker has shrugged off a barren start to the season to help lead the Rocks' bid to climb away from the relegation zone.
Nightingale failied to find the net in the opening seven games of the season but has since scored four goals in the last seven games to raise hopes at Nyewood Lane.
The 26-year-old will hope to continue his prolific form at fellow strugglers St Albans on Saturday where victory could lift Bognor out of the bottom three.
Birmingham said: "Luke has been awesome in the last three or four games. He has been working hard for the team all season but now he is getting the goals as well and that makes him tough to play against.
"It will be a hard game tomorrow because they are fighting for their lives like us but our first aim when me and Dabba (Darin Kilpartrick) took over two weeks ago was to get out of the bottom three so it would nice to achieve that so soon."
David Ray is ruled out with a foot injury which forced him off at half time in the 2-1 win over Cambridge City last Saturday while Scott Harris is a doubt after dropping a gas cyclinder on his foot at work.
