Crawley have appointed Victor Marley as their new chairman.
The former vice president takes over from Susan Todman, who will remain as a club director.
Marley joined the board at the Broadfield Stadium in 1998 and has been working as the club's commercial manager this season.
He said: "I am delighted and feel privileged to have been offered such an important and prestigious position.
"My association with the club goes back over several years in which time I have always looked to further and promote the best interests of the club whatever their situation.
"My acceptance is driven by the fact that the club, having been through a tumultuous 18 months, have been able come out of a difficult situation with a stronger will to succeed.
"Primarily being a true fan of the club, I am personally very happy to have this opportunity to serve the club as chairman and will strive with rest of the board in bringing to the supporters and the town a team to be rightly proud of."
