Crawley are today celebrating beating the Conference drop after picking up the point they needed against Kidderminster in a goalless draw.
Reds never looked like losing in a goalless stalemate at the Broadfield Stadium.
Supporters are now hoping the club's off field future will be settled tomorrow.
Caretaker boss John Yems said: "All the players were magnificent as they have been all season.
"Staying up is a credit to everyone at the club who have worked so hard to keep the club going."
Kidderminster rested a number of key players with their FA Trophy final appearance firmly in mind.
They arrived with little to play for, having staved off any relegation fears weeks ago.
But they didn't show it in the opening stages as they made a bright start in the sunshine.
The visitors enjoyed the majority of possession but it was Reds who created the first chance after ten minutes.
Tony Scully exchanged passes with Lloyd Blackman on the edge of the box and had a rasping drive well saved by Harriers' keeper Steven Taylor.
Blackman had been recalled up front alongside Elliot Benyon as Crawley switched to a more familiar 4-4-2 formation, having played with five across midfield in Tuesday's 2-1 defeat at Halifax.
Reds increased their workrate and tempo as the first half went on and began to control the game as a result.
They almost made the breakthrough the home crowd craved on 20 minutes following Scully's free-kick.
It was met by Magnus Akuonghae who scrambled the ball goalwards but defender Stuart Whitehead cleared off the line.
The hosts remained the team with the momentum until the interval and had a string of further opportunities to score.
Steve Evans fired a shot from an acute angle across the face of goal, then Lee Blackburn fizzed a long-range effort past a post.
Blackman also went close with a dragged shot from the edge of the box before Scully missed the best chance on the stroke of half-time.
He tricked his way past Whitehead with a clever turn but, with only Taylor to beat and the goal at his mercy, sidefooted the wrong side of the upright.
Crawley, who replaced Ronnie Bull with Scott Hiley during the break, began the second half as positively as they ended the first.
They added another missed opportunity to their long list only a minute into the restart when Evans was sent clear on goal.
He tried to slot past the onrushing Taylor with the outside of his foot but the keeper spread himself well and saved with his feet.
Reds made their second change just before the hour in a bid to maintain their attacking dominance with Blackman making way for target man Marcus Richardson.
Evans went close again soon after with a side-footed effort following a corner which skidded inches wide.
Harriers barely ventured into Crawley's half but did manage to threaten on one rare occasion from a corner. Mark Creighton rose above the home defence to send a looping header on to the top of the net with keeper Ben Hamer back-pedalling.
