Crawley face a nail-biting last day of the season after missing the chance to secure Conference survival at Halifax.
Reds lost 2-1 in West Yorkshire last night to stay in danger of the dreaded drop.
Headers from Darryn Stamp and Adam Quinn early in the second half took the Shaymen out of the bottom four.
Tony Scully's late strike was no more than a consolation.
Crawley must now take at least a point against Kidderminster at Broadfield Stadium on Saturday to be guaranteed safety.
Caretaker boss John Yems said: "We know what we have to do now and all the players are determined to do it.
"This defeat makes us pig sick but we will come back stronger like we have all season and make sure we get the result.
"I thought we deserved at least a point but we can't feel sorry for ourselves, we have to get on with it and finish the job on Saturday."
Fellow caretaker manager Ben Judge said: "What a game it is going to be to play in. It is one every player should look forward to because you don't get too many opportunities to play with so much at stake.
"It will be like a title decider and cup final all rolled into one so although we are very disappointed now we should be able to get ourselves up for it."
Grays Athletic moved above Crawley last night after beating Kidderminster 3-0. The Reds are now 17th, just two points above the drop zone.
