Burgess Hill are through to the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup.
And Whitehawk will follow them if they negotiate a replay.
Hillians enjoyed a superb 3-1 win at Sutton United while Hawks shared a 4-4 draw at home to Chelmsford City.
Scott Kirkwood, Greg Luer (with a free-kick) and Dan Perry scored the goals which sent in-form Hillians to victory.

They were also indebted to a brilliant save by Josh James soon after Sutton had got back on terms early in the second half.
Hawks fell 2-0 behind inside four minutes but battled back to lead 3-2 thanks to goals from Osei Sankofa, Jake Robinson and a wonderful strike by Lee Hills, only for Chelmsford to level in first-half stoppage time.
Jake Robinson restored the home lead in the second half but Chelmsford replied from the rebound after a penalty was saved by debutant keeper Lewis Ward.
