Eastbourne United earned a precious 2-2 draw at Sholing today in the first leg of their FA Vase semi-final.
Hampshire side Sholing of the Wessex premier league took a 37th-minute lead when Sean Ray nodded into his own net from a Ashley Jarvis cross.
But United hit back to level from the spot through Wes Tate after Shaun Loft was felled following a corner in the 44th minute.
Striker Ryan McBride put United ahead just before the hour with a turn and strike into the far corner.
Mike Carter was equally as clinical after he was teed up by Marvin McLean in the 83rd minute and struck from 18 yards.
