Eastbourne United boss Simon Rowland admits he has some tough selection decisions to make.
United are preparing to host Ampthill in the quarter-finals of the FA Vase at The Oval today.
James Rhodes, Peter Featherstone, Ben Dartnall, Jack Frankly and Linton Rogers all missed Tuesday’s 6-1 thrashing of Westfield in County League division two.
Matt Maclean went off with an ankle injury in that game while Callum Saunders suffered a hamstring strain, although Rowland is hoping both will be fit.
Former Hastings player-boss Sean Ray has been given permission to play by Kingstonian, where he is dual signed.
Rowland said: “We have a really strong squad. The biggest thing is knowing what side to pick.
“The competition in the squad is the best it has been all season. We are in a good place going into the game.
“It is a massive occasion for the club. We are prepared. If we play well and we get a little bit of luck on the day I’m really hopeful we would be in the draw for Monday.”
