Lewes will travel to Blue Square premier Kidderminster in the second round of the FA Trophy after an impressive replay win over Hampton & Richmond at the Dripping Pan tonight.
Steve Ibbitson's side scored three goals for the first time this season on their way to a 3-1 win.
They went ahead in the ninth minute when Steve Brinkhust scored from close range after David Wheeler had won the ball in a challenge with goalkeeper Matt Lovett.
Two goals in two minutes put Rooks in control. They made it 2-0 after 29 minutes when Wheeler was brought down by Barrie Matthews and Tim Rivers made no mistake from the penalty spot.
And a minute later Scott Chamberlain made it 3-0 after Lovett could only parry Brinkhurst's shot into his path.
Craig Dundas headed one back for the visitors on 42 ninutes but neither side managed a shot on target in the second half as conditions deteriorated but the Rooks were good value for their win.
