Garry Wilson hailed the character of his side after they won 2-0 away to Kidderminster.
Borough went into the game on the back of losing points by conceding goals in each of their last two games.
However, they produced an heroic display to run out winners with goals from Nathan Crabb and Jamie Taylor.
Wilson said: "We showed a bit of character. We were devastated after Monday's result and looked a beaten team with the luck we had but I said to them before the game just work hard on your opponents and maybe that luck will just kick back in.
"I thought we did that, we worked hard. At times in the first half we got a bit of luck but we threw our heads and our boots in there and eventually we started making the better chances. Maybe Kidderminster ran out of ideas in the end."
