Lewes believe they have an agreement in place to avoid being wound-up in the High Court on Wednesday.
The Rooks are facing a winding-up petition from HM Revenue and Customs over a tax debt of £110,000.
But managing director Martin Elliott confirmed this afternoon he had reached an agreement with HMRC over repaying the money.
A down payment of £30,000 was made yesterday when an agreement was made to make three staged repayments of £10,000 over the next three months. The case would then be reviewed when a further agreement would be made over the remainder of the debt.
The matter will still have to go to court on Wednesday but, while a final decision will lay with the judge, Elliott confirmed he does not expect the club to be wound-up.
Fans had feared today's game with Woking could have been the last ever at the Dripping Pan.
