Lewes are hoping for a big crowd tonight for what could be the penultimate game at the Dripping Pan.
The Rooks face a winding-up petition from HM Revenue and Customs on September 2.
The club are continuing talks with HMRC in an attempt to stop the matter from going to court.
But, with two weeks until the petition is due to be heard, fans are concerned.
Lewes want to pay a tax debt of about £100,000 in staged repayments but HMRC are demanding the money in full.
Managing director Martin Elliott has been working hard behind the scenes to get an agreement in place and has been taking legal advice regarding the club’s position.
There are just two home games before the September 2 court case, starting with tonight’s visit of Thurrock.
Manager Steve Ibbitson said: “I hope people come out to support us.
“Two points from a possible nine doesn’t look great but we have played well and Newport on Saturday was probably our best performance.
“What I can promise is an entertaining game.”
Skipper Danny Cullip is rated 50-50 with a hamstring problem but Dan Beck should return from an ankle injury.
