A solitary goal from Daniel McBreen was enough to give York City victory over Eastbourne Borough at the Kit Kat Crescent.
McBreen struck ten minutes before half-time to earn the Minstermen a victory which lifts them out of the bottom four.
Borough were not helped by an early injury to Marc Pullan which forced a reshuffle after 21 minutes, with Matt Smart coming on and Danny Brown switching to defence.
Despite the result Borough remain 12th in the table.
