Eastbourne Borough will be without the services of Sam Gargan for the rest of the season.
The on-loan Albion striker requires surgery to repair a knee cartilage injury suffered in Borough’s 2-0 defeat at Salisbury on Saturday.
The news is a blow as Borough prepare for the third of five games in the space of ten days when relegation threatened Ebbsfleet visit tonight.
Andy Atkin is also ruled out with a groin problem while Nathan Crabb and Matt Smart are also doubts after picking up injuries in the 2-1 win over Crawley on Tuesday.
