Richard Rose spent one season with Whitehawk
Hastings United have swooped to sign former Gillingham and Hereford defender Richard Rose from Whitehawk.
Versatile full-back Rose was released by Whitehawk in May after one season at the Enclosed Ground. He also had a loan spell at Maidstone during the 2013-14 campaign.
Rose made 58 appearances for Gillingham after making his debut in 2001 and played 165 games for Hereford before spells at Dagenham and Redbridge and Dartford.
