Tommy Widdrington wants his Eastbourne Borough side to show they have made progress.
Seventh-placed Borough are away to fifth-placed Dover, who they lost 4-0 at home to earlier in the season.
Widdrington said: “It is a tough game and another side we didn’t get a good result against at the first time of asking.
“The same as any game like that, I will be asking the lads to show a response and show we have improved.”
Borough should have a full squad to choose from with Jack Deaman returning from a three-match ban and Chris Shephard having finally shaken off a hamstring injury.
Widdrington added: “We have taken our time with Chris. If you force them back too early you could be out for three or four weeks and three or four weeks at this stage is almost season over.”
