John Maggs is guarding against complacency as Hastings United entertain Brentwood Town in the FA Trophy.
The winners play Maggs' former team Horsham, who beat Faversham 4-1 last night.
Boss Maggs has been pleased with performances in a three-game unbeaten run but said: “We need to do what we have been doing in the last three games when we have been quite impressive.
“But having done so well what we must guard against is thinking we are the bee’s knees and have a divine right to get a result.
“After the disappointment of the FA Cup exit, I hope we can give the Trophy a bit of a spin.”
Cliff Cant, who worked under Maggs as a player and also coach at Crawley Town and then as a coach at Horsham, has been appointed as his assistant manager/coach.
Matt Darby is doubtful with a virus.
