Priory Lane is a happy place to be at the moment.
That is the message from Eastbourne Borough boss Tommy Widdrington after an impressive start to the season.
Borough topped the table after four games and are currently sixth after a 4-1 victory at home to Bishop’s Stortford last Saturday.
They have a game in hand on their rivals after the league match with Farnborough on August 31 was postponed due to the Hampshire club’s financial problems.
Farnborough, who are now back in action, visit Priory Lane in the FA Cup today.
Widdrington said: “The is a happy place at the moment. There is a good vibe around the club.
“We have trained well this week, everyone is up for the Cup and it is a competition we want to progress in.
“I have watched Farnborough and Alan (Kimble) has watched them for me too. They are a decent footballing side who try to play the right way.”
