Hastings United player-boss Sean Ray says the return of the versatile Sam Adams to the club will give the team a lift.
United go to Cray Wanderers today desperate for their first win since November last year.
Adams, who left the club in 2011 and can play upfront or midfield, has rejoined from Rye and Ray said: “I think it will be a boost for the place having Sam back and we need that lift.”
Young Aldershot Town left-back Rory Murphy has also returned to the Pilot Field for the remainder of the season.
Ray added: “We did have two more lined up on loan who were on professional contracts at Aldershot but they have just sacked Dean Holdsworth so we’re waiting to see what happens. We could have four in for Saturday.”
Scott Manning has left the club to sign for Lewes while Mikel Suarez was recalled by parent club Tonbridge Angels this week too.
