Coach Mark Robinson has challenged Sussex to show no fear in their key televised clash with Kent at Canterbury tonight.
The Sharks kept their bid for a place in the FL T20 quarter-finals on track with a four-wicket win against Glamorgan at Hove last night.
The match was watched by Gus Poyet and his Albion squad who paraded the League One trophy around the outfield in the break between innings.
Seagulls skipper Gordon Greer and his team-mates were kept on the edge of their seats until the final over when Ollie Rayner hit the winning runs with four balls to spare.
Sussex are level on points with Kent going into tonight’s clash and Robinson said: “It’s a big game but we’ve just got to go there, have a good time, show off our skills and have no fear. It was an important win last night but you don’t want to build games up too much or the pressure stops you playing.”
Luke Wright is expected to miss tonight’s game with a knee injury.
