Sussex today signed Australian fast bowler Damien Wright as their short-term overseas player.
The 32-year-old will arrive on Friday and make his debut in Sunday's Friends Provident Trophy game against Gloucestershire.
He will stand in for Yasir Arafat until May 10 when Arafat will take over.
If Arafat is selected in Pakistan's Twenty20 World Cup squad Wright will take his place for Sussex until the end of June.
Wright, who has just helped Victoria win the Sheffield Shield, will be playing for his third different English county after spells with Northamptonshire and Glamorgan.
