Coach Mark Robinson has urged Sussex supporters to keep a sense of perspective as his side try to get their season up and running today.
The county are reeling from a lengthy injury list with Mushtaq Ahmed (sore knee) the latest worry ahead of the FP Trophy day-nighter against Glamorgan at Hove (2.30pm).
But Robinson said: "I think there is a danger of getting too wrapped up in things when all we have done is a lost a cricket match. There is a three-year-old girl missing in Portugal so I think we all need to keep things in perspective."
Mushtaq and Luke Wright will both have fitness tests but Jason Lewry is available after recovering from a hip problem. Skipper Chris Adams has recovered from illness but Andrew Hodd (virus) and Mike Yardy (broken finger) are still out.
Robinson added: "It's a tough time at the moment but we have no divine right to win games. It's a case of not panicking."
