Chris Liddle gets another chance to continue the promising start to his one-day career for Sussex tomorrow (May 7).
The left-armer, signed from Leicestershire last October, went wicketless at Taunton last week when the Sharks began their defence of the FP Trophy with a 38-run win over Somerset.
Liddle took 0-41 from seven overs but did a crucial job to peg back Somerset's reply.
Coach Mark Robinson said: "Lidds had an excellent debut. He didn't take a wicket but he deserved to because he held a length and didn't let them get after him."
With five players either injured or ill and Saqlain Mushtaq still not registered, Sussex's team to face Gloucestershire in Bristol tomorrow will virtually pick itself.
Rana Naved, Jason Lewry, Mike Yardy and Luke Wright are all injured while Andrew Hodd, who could have played as a specialist batsman, has gone down with flu.
Sussex (probable): Montgomerie, Prior, Rayner, Adams, Goodwin, Nash, Hopkinson, Martin-Jenkins, Mushtaq Ahmed, Kirtley, Liddle.
