Jamie Proctor gets the nod to start up front for Crawley Town at Bramall Lane tonight.
The striker has been on the bench for the last two games but replaces Emile Sinclair in attack.
Sinclair drops to the bench alongside Gary Alexander who has to be content with a place among the substitutes after returning from a three-game ban.
Proctor's inclusion is the only change to the side which beat Oldham Athletic 1-0 last weekend. Connor Essam is the man who drops out of the matchday squad to make way for Alexander.
Sheff United hand a debut to Simon Lappin after the defender received international clearance today following his loan move from Cardiff City.
Lappin's inclusion is the only change to a Blades side which went down 2-0 at Wolves last weekend - their sixth league defeat in a row.
Sheff Utd (4-2-3-1): Long; McMahon, Maguire, Collins, Lappin; Doyle, Cuvelier; Hall, Baxter,Brandy; King. Subs: Howard, Westlake, Hill, Taylor, McGinn, Coady, Murphy.
