Britain's hockey men are through to their first Olympic semi-final since Seoul in 1988 after drawing 1-1 with Spain tonight.
Ashley Jackson, one of four East Grinstead players in the side, scored with a first half penalty corner, his fifth goal of the tournament.
It was enough to earn GB the point they needed and emulate the women in reaching the last four, despite Spain's second half equaliser by Pau Quemada from a penalty corner.
The match finished in controversy, Spain protesting to th e umpires as two late decisions to award them penalty corners were reversed.
GB now face the Netherlands on Thursday night (8pm).
