Ashley Jackson glittered again in a 4-1 victory for the GB men's hockey team against Pakistan today, which puts them back on course for a semi-final spot.
The East Grinstead star played a part in James Tindall's fourth minute opener, then his mazy run down the right set up Jonty Clarke for the second.
Jackson scored the thirdand fourth goals himself from penalty corners in the second half, making it four in two games after bagging both in the 2-2 draw against South Africa.
That result meant GB could not afford another slip-up but they are now level on points at the top of their group with favourites Australia, who were surprisingly held to a 2-2 draw by Argentina this morning.
A late penalty corner from captain SohailAbbas was scant consolation for Pakistan.
GB, who were watched by the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, face the Aussies in their penutlimate group match on Sunday evening.
